Fruit Ninja 2 is a mobile game that takes the popular arcade franchise to new heights. Test your reflexes, show your deep wisdom, or destroy all organic food you see!
Draw your blade and prepare to slice! Go solo with original modes such as Zen, Arcade, and Classic, or spice things up with minigame shuffle, rhythm slicing mode, or the frosty bow weapon.
Gameplay
The gameplay in Fruit Ninja 2 is similar to that of the original. The player uses their fingers to swipe at on-screen fruit, and extra points are earned for slicing multiple fruits at once. The game also has several power-ups that can help the player do more damage or earn special rewards.
The new game has a league mode, which pits the player against other players online in head-to-head matches. There are also other fun mini-games and a new bow weapon that allows the player to shoot arrows at fruit from a safe distance.
Australian video game developer Halfbrick has released a sequel to its 2010 hit, Fruit Ninja. It is free to download, but some features require in-app purchases. It features classic, arcade, and zen modes. It also has a variety of weapons and characters.
Game modes
Fruit Ninja 2 has a variety of different game modes that players can play. Besides the classic mode, players can play in Arcade and Zen modes that offer varying periods and different rewards for achieving high scores. Some of these rewards include a blitz bonus, a golden sword, and tickets for participating in limited-time events.
Additionally, Fruit Ninja 2 offers a multiplayer mode that allows players to compete against their friends in real time. The game also features power-ups that can boost a player’s score by slowing down time or increasing the scoring multiplier. This feature adds a new element to the game and makes it even more fun. There are also special events that can unlock costumes and weapons for the player’s character.
Characters
As you play, your character gains experience and earns currency. This currency can be used to unlock new characters and blades. In addition, the game features Macros, which allow players to record a sequence of actions and execute them at any time.
Seb is the unspoken leader of the Frenzy Force gang and, despite bickering, fighting, and competing with each other, he always puts his team and their mission first. He also has a keen sense of humor and an undeniable love for adventure.
He is a big fan of comic books, particularly the Barry Steakfries series by Dynamite(r). His appearance in the game differs with each skin, ranging from a Cherry invert to a Halloween outfit and a blueberry to a smile hood.
Powerups
Fruit Ninja 2 carries over much of the same addictive finger-slashing fun as the original, but Halfbrick is also adding content in celebration of its second anniversary. It adds a new “powerup” shop featuring Gutsu, Truffles, and the Autumn Blade to the game, allowing players to purchase power-up boosts such as Berry Blast, Peachy Time and Bomb Deflects with the Starfruit currency earned at the end of each gameplay session.
These powerups can be very helpful for reaching high scores in the Arcade mode, where combo blitzes of three or more fruits will earn you bonus points and speed up your event progress meter. Achieving this requires quick, twisty strokes of the screen and a lot of luck. Avoiding the bombs is just as important, as hitting one ends the blitz and slows down the pace.
In-game shop
The game has an in-game shop where players can purchase items to increase their gameplay experience. This includes weapons, powerups, and character skins. These items can be purchased using the in-game currency, which is obtained by completing quests.
Unlike many other games that require players to spend real-life money to unlock in-game content, Fruit Ninja 2 offers a wide selection of in-game options without requiring any additional spending. These options include new blades, taunt packs, and character skins.
The in-game store is easily accessible from the main menu of the game. It also has quick tabs that allow players to buy Trinkets and Potions without having to search for them. Additionally, the shop allows players to filter based on stats. For example, players can choose between Fighter, Marksman, Assassin, Mage, Tank, or Support.
